How cool is our friend Ivy Kimble, this week’s “Wear Your Character” profile? Ivy is not only an American Girl model, but she is also very involved in GiGi’s Playhouse in Tinley Park. Ivy’s determination and spunk make her a joy to be around. She’s got a no-nonsense attitude and when she sets her mind to something, nothing can stop her. She has no fear and is authentically Ivy to everyone she meets.

Dancing, coloring, swimming, playing with my sisters

If you could have any superpower, what would you pick and why?
I want to be Superman, So I can fly.
What inspired you to do what you do?
I want to help other kids with Down syndrome.
What do you hope other kids can learn from your experience?
Don’t be scared to try new things, you can do it!
What advice do you have for other kids looking to get involved in the community or volunteer for a charity?
Always be Happy and Kind to everybody, be a helper.
