Frequently Asked Questions
A few simple answers
How do you pronounce Makoshey? It’s pronounced Mack-O-Shay, we think it’s fun to say, don’t you? It was my grandmother’s maiden name. We think offering girls comfy clothes that reflect their unique style will help them grow up to be confident, kind, and capable, just like grandma Makoshey.
Can I buy Makoshey in stores?Yes! Makoshey is available at the Red Balloon in our hometown of Chicago. We are growing fast. If you know a store that you think should carry Makoshey (or if you happen to own a store that should carry Makoshey), please shoot us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Does Makoshey make clothes for boys too?We started Makoshey to give girls some fresh styles so they can be themselves and express their diverse interests. We know a lot of girls want a break from the trends of tight, frilly, and outdated designs pushing them to conform to stereotypes. Though our clothes are designed with girls in mind, we have learned that a lot of boys, including our son, love Makoshey too. We are all for everyone feeling free to be themselves in Makoshey.
